Abstract

This paper proposes a coordination control method of Engine in Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) system for Extended-range electric bus. Based on PID control theory and fuzzy control theory, the different parameters PID control strategies of engine are analyzed and compared. The parameters of PID are confirmed preliminarily through one dimensional function model of engine. Test study on engine speed control simulated and coordination work with generator are completed on APU test bench. The engine control model and parameter of PID are verified and optimized.
