Abstract
Based on the properties of conductor in static equilibrium state, a model of active electrostatic fuze is built, then its electrostatic field is discussed, and the characteristic curve of the induced charge on test electrode vs. the distance between the fuze and target is obtained in this paper. A circuit is used to test the change rate of the induced charge, and the working principle of the signal processing circuit is proposed. The obtained conclusions are when the fuze gets close to the target, the change rate of the induced charge increases, and the output of the charge test circuit increases; the resolution of the circuit output is affected by the charge of test electrode, the sizes of electrode and target, the distance between the electrodes in fuze, and the angle between the fuze and the taret, and is proportional to the relative velocity between fuze and target. This research work is important for the design work of active electrostatic fuze.
