Abstract

In this paper, a new method for detecting and clustering multiple extended targets in high resolution range profile (HRRP) is proposed. Firstly, the traditional constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detection algorithm is used to detect targets, and then the sliding window energy accumulation method is used to cluster the targets. The proposed method can accurately detect the location and number of extended targets, and effectively eliminate the interference of noise points. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method has high detection accuracy and robustness, and can be applied to the field of multi-extended target detection.
