Abstract
Under the condition of initial spraying energy in wire explosion spraying kept unchanged, the effects of different voltage and capacitance matching on the coating performance were studied. Molybdenum coatings were prepared on LY12 aluminum alloy substrate by wire explosion spraying on different voltage and capacitance matching. The coatings were examined by SEM, EDS, etc. The results showed that when initial spraying energy density was kept unchanged, the spraying condition of high voltage and low capacitance matching can result in better coating.
