Abstract

This paper analyzed the specular reflection of non-orthogonal dihedral based on Shooting Bouncing Ray (SBR) method and applied it in the bi-/multi-static synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems. The theoretical analysis implies that the bistatic angle is only dependent on the dihedral angle in doubly reflection of dihedral if the incident angle is small enough. The derived formula is coincident with the trihedral case in monoSAR system where bistatic angle is 0. Both the simulation and experiments results validate the theoretical analysis.
