Echo modeling and realization of simulator in fuze target simulator

Abstract

Echo modeling and simulation in a PD fuze were studied, and then the fuze target simulator was built up successfully on the basis of the model. A model of the fuze target was built up with equivalent scattering point; the effect of environment was analyzed. The single channel simulator was based on FPGA, combined with parallel port communication, SRAM and DDS which simulated the target echo of the single scattering point, and then the parallel mode of the single simulators was used to simulate the target echo of many scattering points. The result of the actual test validates the correctness of the model and the simulator.
