Abstract

In recent years, researches on wireless communication operating in terahertz frequency band have increased conspicuously owing to several inherent advantages, such as larger spectral bandwidth, lower time latency and higher beam directionality. It is believed that eavesdropping on legitimate information carried by narrow terahertz beams is really difficult and even impossible, especially in indoor scenarios where line-of-sight (LoS) channel algorithm is preferred. However, in this work, we would present that objects in our daily-life, such as coffee cups, are able to intercept signal from an indoor LoS terahertz channel successfully.
