Abstract

The interaction of vehicle-terrain in straight driving and steering was analyzed and a uniform mathematic model was put forward. A dynamic model of dual-motor driven electric tracked vehicle was built in Matlab/Simulink for control application. Steerings in a small and big radius and returning were simulated with the dynamic model and validated by field experiment. It was proved that dual-motor driven electric vehicle model can be applied to calculate motor's torque, forces acted on vehicle by terrain and vehicle's dynamic parameters exactly.
