Abstract

With the strict implementation of the emissions regulations, the electronic control of diesel fuel injection system is the development trend for diesel engine in the future. Diesel Electronic Unit Pump (EUP) enjoys the advantages of digital control of fuel charge and injection pulse width and also reliability in operation; thus has a strong value in the field of high-power diesel engine. In this paper, the authors have given the overall design for the higher voltage drive circuit which is conducted in accordance with the requirements of diesel engine electrical control unit pump drive, with dive Peak&Hold as its basis. The testing result shows that the minimum operating interval of this higher voltage drive circuit is 5ms, high-voltage peak current of electric-magnetic valve reaches 20A, maintaining current is 15A, action responding time is within 200μs, and low-voltage maintaining current is 8A.The circuit can meet the requirement of electrical control unit pump to higher voltage drive circuit.
