Abstract

In this paper, the distributed state estimation problem of linear systems under switching communication networks is investigated. A distributed Luenberger observer is developed that can achieve distributed unbiased asymptotic state estimation if the communication networks are uniformly connected and the observed system is jointly observable. Compared with the existing results, the salient feature of this work is that the developed approach is more resilient to unreliable communication.
