Abstract

We propose a method to implement discriminative measurement of temperature and strain using stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) and guided acoustic-wave Brillouin scattering (GAWBS). A measurement accuracy of 0.49 °C and 14.9 μϵ has been achieved.
