Abstract

A polarimetric quaternion data alignment based involution stacking approach is proposed to wideband direction finding with identically oriented vector antennas. The signals of interest may come from either noncircular or circular sources. The method is based on the quaternion effective subspace separation technique. It can be viewed as the multi-polarized extension of the uni-polarized aligned rank reduction scheme, fulfilling time domain wideband noncircularity exploitation. Simulation results are included to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.
