Abstract
AlN/PE composite substrate was fabricated by mould pressing. The influences of AlN content and morphology on the dielectric performance were studied and the model for predicting dielectric constant was also discussed, which is well coincident with the experiment results. With increasing of AlN content, the dielectric constant and loss increase gradually. The calculated model for dielectric constant could be described as εk = Mathematical bold italic small phi sign1εk1 + Mathematical bold italic small phi sign2εk2 + Mathematical bold italic small phi sign3εk3, in which Mathematical bold italic small phi sign1, Mathematical bold italic small phi sign2 and Mathematical bold italic small phi sign3 are volume fractions of AlN, PE and interstice, and Mathematical bold italic small phi sign1, Mathematical bold italic small phi sign2, and Mathematical bold italic small phi sign3 the corresponding dielectric constants, respectively, k is a constant.
