Abstract
Performance evaluation of thermal imaging systems plays a very important role on system demonstration, design and analyses. With the technology development of focal plane detector, the influence of discrete under sample of focal plane detector, digital filter and electronic zoom on system performance or role distance became a bug for traditional performance evaluation models of thermal imaging systems. The development and status quo on typical performance evaluation models of thermal imaging systems were analyzed, performance evaluation of thermal imaging systems was introduced emphatically and the development direction of performance evaluation on thermal imaging systems was analyzed. It is of practical significance for developing the performance evaluation technology of thermal imaging systems.
