Development of electric control unit in electric power steering system of pure electric power bus

Abstract

The disadvantages of hydraulic power steering system installed on pure electric power bus were discussed. The structure and working principle of electric power steering system were introduced. The electric control unit based on the DSP56F8346 chip of electric power steering system was developed, which consists of logic driver circuit module and power driver circuit module. The design of the power driver module and distributive circuit of driver signals were discussed. The electric control unit has high-speed data processing ability and high control precision, and can meet the requirement of real-time control for the electric power steering system adopting complicated control strategies.
