Abstract
The properties of stress wave propagation in a anchored bolt were characterized. From the research some important characteristic parameters which can evaluate the bolt anchoring quality were obtained. Based on the research, the bolt anchoring quality testing instrument was developed under the platform of embedded system. After the acquired data was processed from the embedded processor, the characteristic parameters were processed and displayed real-time on the screen. Study on the mechanism of a bolt anchoring quality testing instrument provides a theoretical basis for the achievement of the instrument, while the development of a bolt anchoring quality testing instrument provides necessary conditions for the nondestructive testing of bolt anchoring quality.
