abstract = "Frequency source is currently used in various fields such as radar, communications, navigation, etc., which is accredited as the {"}heart{"}of modern electronic systems. However, low phase noise modulated continuous wave(FMCW) frequency source is difficult to design. In this paper, a Ku-band low phase noise FMCW frequency source based on LMX2492 and HMC1167 with phase-locked loop(PLL) structure is developed. The final experimental results demonstrate that this frequency source can generate single frequency point and FMCW signal at 12-13 GHz, and the phase noise measured at 12.6 GHz is better than -90 dBc/Hz@1KHz.",
