Abstract
Digital IF receivers overcome the shortcoming of amplitude and phase imbalance introduced by conventional analogue quadrature demodulation. They achieve satisfactory effect in suppression of the image frequency component. IF sampling theory and digital down conversion (DDC) technique are reviewed in the paper, and a multi-channel radar IF receiver based on the IF sampling theory is developed. The receiver makes a good performance in experiment and gives a feasible schema for wideband radar data acquisition.
