Design of Blast Chamber for Long-time Use and Experimental Research

Abstract

The engineering calculated method of intension design for blast chamber was brought forward. For synthesize diamond in explosion, the 1kg TNT blast chamber for long-term use was designed and machined. The explosion load and strain measuring systems had been set up, the blast loads and strains in the condition of vary charge weights were gained. The experiment proved that the blast chamber is elastic with 1kg TNT explosion in it, so it is safe and the design method is doable.
