Abstract

A Ka band dual mode filter based on LTCC technology is designed in this paper. This filter is realized by using cylindrical cavity with pin mode. The filter is a four order cross coupled filter with a pair of transmission zeros, its center frequency is 35 GHz and the bandwidth is 1GHz. EM simulator HFSS is employed in determining and optimizing the physical dimension of the filter. The simulation results show that the insertion loss of the filter is less than 2.6 dB, and the return loss is better than 20dB, which can meet the requirements of the design well.
