Abstract

This paper is about the schemes for a remote control hydraulic servo test bed. The servo valve controlled hydraulic cylinder and its server are closed over the internet by using TCP/IP protocol suite to multiplex data from remote plant to the controller. Users monitor control process by web browser. As plant, server and user interface are clock-driven, single-sampling, empty-sampling and multiple-sampling cases will appear in the forward and feedback paths. The sampled-information processor is proposed to eliminate the multiple-sampling case as well as to process the confused messages. Furthermore, the switched-compensator, which will change between two structures, is presented to compensate the internet delays in real-time. The theory analysis proves that the remote control test bed maintains desired performance. Some experiments are used to illustrate the validity of the remote control design methodology.
