Abstract
Aim: To design and realize multimedia techniques-based management system for education affairs. Methods: Multimedia techniques were adopted. Multimedi a personal computer (MPC) was used as hardware platform developed from personal computer (PC) and windows 3.1 was selected as software platform. Software was programmed by visual basic 3.0. Results: Has the ability of handling the text, graph, sound and i mage comprehensively. Conclusion: It puts away forever the dull way of the operation of traditional management system, and brings a brand-new apperance of modern information management. It is a good way for increasing the standardization level and eff iciency of the university's management.
