Abstract

In airplane cockpit, flight crew, display interface, control device and onboard control device constitute a complex human computer interaction system. As a natural interaction way, eye movement can simplify the interaction process of pilots, avoiding mistakes caused by fatigue or distraction. What's more, since this interactive modality only requires eye movement as input, it can be adapted to some special situations and free the user's hands. In this paper, we design a gaze gesture interaction system for flight simulation and compare it with the existing prominent interaction methods.
