abstract = "Digital Image Matting refers to taking out the part you interest from a natural digital image while preserving the complete edges. The purpose of this paper is to present the design and implementation of an Android image matting application with a convenient form of human-computer interaction and high process speed. First, we get the user's interactive inputs on the basis of the Android graphics API and Android touch API. Then we use a new matting algorithm based on the improved Grab cut and Guided Filter to process image. Some scribbles can be added to the result as extra constrains if the user is not satisfied with the matting result. Then, the matting result will be processed by the proposed matting algorithm again. The experiment results have shown that our image matting application performs better than other matting applications. Especially, our application applies to various tough conditions such as fur objects, transparent objects and the image of complex textures.",
