Abstract

A simple mobile engine operating condition signal simulator was developed, which solved the combination of sensor signal in ECU debugging. The simulator provided a flexible parameter setting mode on chip keyboard/LCD. Meanwhile the simulator also provided an engine and a load modal based on the MAP model, which provided a simple means of ECU hardware-in-loop debug. The experimental result shows that this engine operational state signal simulator can produce a combination of ECU sensors' signal flexibly and is a good assistant instrument in engine ECU software logistic debugging or engine ECU diagnosing.
