Abstract

A non-tracking solar PV/T tubular collector was designed to get electricity and heat at same time. Matlab software was used to optimize the curve shape of concentrator, numerically simulate the results and get the best shape of absorber. The optical path diagram for different incidence angle and the distribution map of the concentration ratio for bottom surface were given, which proved that received light in bottom surface was more uniform so that it could avoid the damage of solar cell caused by heat stress of high temperature. And the average concentration ratio of bottom surface was measured through the experiment, which was coincided with simulation results perfectly. Finally, the best waist length of 14.5 mm for triangle on bottom surface was got, the design chart was given.
