Abstract

This text introduced the characteristic and application of the surface-acoustic-wave oscillator including its operation principle and the design method. The key technology and solution was analyzed at last. The pattern of the circuit is simple with good performance. The result of study is provided finally: Output frequency is 1.81 GHz, with output power of 7.23 dBm. Long-term frequency stability is 5 × 10-6 per day; The phase noise is superior to -122 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz carrier offset.
