Abstract

The variation of both the missile model and static stability caused by varying parameters is analyzed. The benefit of reducing missile static stability on missile maneuverability is presented. The transform technologies both of engineering index into the desired system poles and state feedback into output feedback are discussed. A general two-loop autopilot design method based on pole assigement and output feedback is proposed. The two-loop autopilot can stabilize a static unstable missile, and the finite resource of actuator is one of the crucial factor for restricting autopilot control function, however. The parameter as the distance from accelerator to missile gravity center is applied to improve system stability.
