Abstract

Deramp ω-k algorithm(DRMA) is designed to process the high-resolution space-borne spotlight SAR data. The algorithm is comprised of two steps. Firstly, azimuth Deramp processing is performed to reduce the Doppler bandwidth of the scene and lower limit of pulse repetition frequency, which efficiently decreases the data ratio of raw data and increases the swath width. Secondly, the residual focusing is performed by ω-k with little modification. Calculation of the equivalent speed which is of one auto-focusing parameter is also given. Finally, the correctness of the designed algorithm is validated by computer simulation.
