Abstract

In this paper, traffic organization and management decision support system model and a detailed analysis of the system's structure and function are proposed based on geographic information system (GIS). This system is used to provide services for decision-making in traffic organization and management of large-scale event. Through comparing the various organization programs and outputting the result in the form of data or images, it can provide decision-making basis to decision-makers. The application in the 60th National Day celebration in Beijing, China, shows a perfect performance and verified the rationality of design.
