Abstract

(Figure Presented) Hydrothermal reaction of Zn(OAc)2·2 H2O and H3PO3 in the presence of n-butyl-amine gives the title compound, which contains extra-large 24-ring channels (see framework representation). Each channel is enclosed by a tetragonal array of four 8-ring channels interconnected by corner-sharing 4-ring chains through Zn-O-P linkages.
