Abstract
Critical parameters of thermal explosion problem of exothermic materials with shells and of the class A configuration are numerically calculated when the reactant consumption is neglected. The calculations include the effects of the thinkness and the thermal conductivity of the shell, the values of Biot number and nondimensional activation energy on the critical parameters. The results are discussed in detail.
