Abstract

The TEM images presented in Figure of this Communication were inadvertently mixed up with previously published images, which do not represent the actual samples (with different aspect ratios and different LSPR peaks) used in the subsequent spectroscopic studies. A new Figure with the correct TEM images of the actual samples used in the spectroscopic studies is shown below. This correction does not change the conclusion of the spectroscopic studies. The authors apologize for this oversight. Figure (Figure presented.) TEM images for Au/PANI NRs with different shell thicknesses. a, b) TEM images for Au/PANI NRs with a shell thickness of about 5 to 10 nm. c, d) TEM images for Au//PANI NRs with a shell thickness of about 20 nm. Scale bar: 200 nm (a, c), 20 nm (b, d).
