Abstract

In order to compensate the impact of the antenna array steering vector mismatch and the phase noise, the bidirectional iterative vector correlation angle measurement is proposed based on pattern fitting and robust Capon beamforming (RCB). The new method firstly uses the comparability between pattern and signal energy distribution to focus the direction of the target signal. Then different from the traditional method of correlation interferometer direction finding, combine the method of steering vector iteration based on the RCB with the method of direction finding correlation interferometer in the focus range, then determines the direction of the target signal by fitting the correlation signal vector. And then in the premise of ensuring the accuracy of direction finding, measure the target signal direction using the bidirectional iterative method. Simulation results show that the new method can compensate the impact of the steering vector mismatch and phase measurement noise, accurately measure the target signal direction.
