Abstract

To achieve the comprehensive optimization of the friction loss and shift jerk in the gear shift process, this paper studies the 1-2 gear upshift process with the highest gear ratio change for a certain heavy vehicle. First, the problems existing in the shift process are analyzed, and then a coordinated control strategy based on engine speed is proposed. Finally, taking friction loss and shift jerk as indexes, particle swarm optimization is used to optimize the control parameters of the shift process. The simulation results show that the control strategy proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the friction loss and jerk in the shift process, and improve the shift quality.
