N2 - A cooperative interception law is presented for antiaircraft guidance projectiles to intercept multiple maneuvering aircraft. According to the interception geometry of the projectiles, protected asset, and incoming aircraft, the minimal distance between the final interception point and asset is regarded as a measure of the urgency of target interception. The target assignment strategy is based on the minimal safe distance and maneuverability of the projectile predicted at the terminal of the projectile trajectory. Considering the maneuverability of the aircraft and the projectile itself, an optimal interception strategy with a constrained velocity is obtained for intercepting a maneuvering target. Simulation analysis shows that the cooperative interception algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve effective task assignment and assign a projectile to the best target. The proposed algorithm reduces the problem of inadequate maneuverability of antiaircraft projectiles at the end of their trajectories due to gravity and effectively improves the interception efficiency of the projectiles. The algorithm not only is applicable to the interception of multiple aircraft but can also be used to solve the interception problem of ground maneuvering target groups.
