N2 - With the growing development of the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), the advantages of the new communication paradigm brought by IoT are also extended to automatic manufacturing, intelligent patrol, energy management, etc. While enjoying the convenience of various IoT services, there also emerges new security risks, which is much more critical compared to the security threats to the traditional communication systems and may result in serious consequences, such as destruction of the industrial machinery and ransomware. In order to guarantee the information secrecy during the communication process of the Industrial IoT services, this paper proposes the communication framework using the distributed antenna systems to enable and to improve the secure communications for the Industrial IoT services. Based on the physical layer security theory, we aim to optimize the precoder of the distributed antenna systems in order to maximize the information rate of the communications, with the information secrecy constraint. To evaluate the performance of the proposed framework, comprehensive simulation experiments are conducted in the smart factory environments.
