Abstract

Present work established a new type of rotating permanent magnet composite magnetic refrigerator at room temperature. Through the experiment, the system of alternating the flow of the refrigerant system operating frequency and system pressure on the magnetic refrigerator performance analysis and discuss the experimental results. The lowest no-load cooling temperature of -7.7°C and a maximum cooling power of 50.5 W under a temperature span of 10 K were achieved with helium as the heat transfer fluid and gadolinium as magnetic materials refrigerant in the optimization of the system frequency and system pressure conditions.
