N2 - A design for radar absorbing materials (RAM) is given, including theory, methodology and techniques. To illustrate RAM design theory and methods, the tracking calculation method and pure-shape optimum are also briefly introduced. In addition, the design process and examples of a multi-layer absorber are provided. The features of the multi-layer absorber design are a kind of broad-band and thin-type absorber.
