Abstract

A comprehensive measuring system for the inner surface of artillery is researched. The system is made up of a ring laser generator, a taper reflector, a CCD camera and a motor. When the ring laser coming from the laser generator is projected onto the inner wall of the artillery, it forms an image on the CCD camera. With this image, a profile line of the inner wall can be measured. At the same time, the CCD camera can also take pictures of the inner wall, with those pictures, flaws on the wall can be analyzed and recognized, and even the rifling parameters and degree of wearing can also be measured. Driven by the motor, the system can move along the axis of the artillery realizing the whole inner wall measurement of the artillery.
