Abstract
A composite state-space model is proposed for representing two-dimensional damped/undamped harmonics. Based on this, parameter estimations of two-dimensional harmonics are obtained by identifying parameters of the model. The new estimating method decomposes the original two-dimensional problem into several one-dimensional problems, but no pairing algorithm is required to yield two-dimensional parameters. Simulations are provided to show the efficiency of this method.
