Abstract

Methods of moments based on different integral equations are comparatively studied in accuracy and efficiency for scattering by homogeneous bodies. Computational characteristics of various implementation approaches are analyzed for the single integral equation and the Poggio-Miller-Chang-Harrington-Wu (PMCHW) equation. The numerical performance of various implementations is shown by numerical experiments and explained in the paper. Conclusions of different implementation approaches are finally presented in accuracy and efficiency.
