N2 - Video synthetic aperture radar (Video-SAR) is a new imaging mode where a sequence of images are continuously formed and reproduced in video, which has unique advantages in moving target detection. In this paper, Range-Doppler (RD) and BackProjection (BP) algorithm are introduced for video-SAR image formation. The above two algorithms are applied to the moving target experiment. By comparing the quality parameters of the experimental results, the advantages and disadvantages of the two algorithms in video SAR imaging are analyzed.
