Abstract
A novel frame synchronization algorithm was proposed based on low density parity check (LDPC) code constraints. At frame acquisition stage, the start of frame was obtained by using LDPC code constraints. At frame tracking stage, the start of frame was tracked by using decoding information from the output of LDPC decoder. Simulation results show that LDPC code constraints based frame acquisition performs well at relatively high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). LDPC code-aided frame tracking algorithm outperforms the code constraints-based algorithm and pilot-aided algorithm.
