Abstract

This paper provides closed-form solutions for directions of two unresolved steady targets with two pulses in noiseless monopulse model when the relative phase of the two targets varies between the two pulses. Performance of the algorithm is studied by numerical simulation in the presence of noise. If the relative phase of the two targets changes more than 360°, the new algorithm can achieve higher accuracy than traditional monopulse ratio method in single-target case by choosing eligible pulses. At last, the effects of slight target fluctuations are tested in the simulation.
