Abstract

In order to verify the high accuracy of interface treatment, the Particle Level Set was coupled with the governing equations for fluid dynamics, and the 5th-order WENO scheme for discretizing spatial derivative and the third TVD-Runge-Kutta scheme for temporal derivative were adopted. The code was developed by C++ language. The problem for the moving shock interacting with single Helium bubble was simulated by the code. The interface treatment simulation result shows that the Particle Level Set method has higher accuracy than the Level Set method under different grid sizes.
