Abstract

With the development of PD radar signal processing methods, the advantages of traditional white noise interference are being weakened and active interference generated by radar jammers is increasingly appearing. On this condition, new methods on anti-jamming are needed. In traditional narrow pulse suppression process, the narrow pulse signal is often replaced with average noise or zero, and is directly discarded. This approach actually wastes the interference source information that may be contained in the narrow pulse. In this paper, we propose a new method to extract information from the narrow pulse by using narrow pulse suppression and the MUSIC algorithm, which may be of use in interference direction estimation.
