Abstract

A novel unequally spaced sampling method used in an infrared image system with rosette scanning was proposed to reduce the image data and improve the processing speed of the system. It was found that the use of unequally spaced sampling method the resolution of image can be improved at no cost of increasing the image data. The results showed that as the optimal sampling parameters was applied, the infrared image with high quality and small data can be obtained.
