Abstract
Aiming at the brake effectiveness during the brake period of vehicular artillery, the travel of vehicular artillery and the stress on wheel were analyzed. The basic equations were constructed for the braking efficiency of vehicular artillery. Based on the equations, the braking force, braking deceleration and the braking distance were analyzed. The dynamic simulation was performed for triaxial vehicular artillery. The lock sequence of the axle, the braking deceleration and braking distance were obtained. The results offer reference for the braking system design of vehicular artillery.
