Abstract

The elastoplastic dynamic constitutive relation for the jointed rock mass under explosive load was studied. The stress history was taken into account and the stress will follow changes in time during the period of explosive loading. The nodal concentrated force and nodal displacement by stress of element were calculated according to the principle of elastic force balance. The elastoplastic dynamic finite element equations were obtained. The results of numerical simulation for displacement and stress fields of different angle of jointed rock mass have shown that it is in agreement with the experimental results.
